Arpan Karki

Born in Kathmandu, Nepal, Arpan  “AP” Karki, the founder and front man of NepCali calls himself a dreamer. With not much musical background in his family, Arpan became attracted to music and very persistent singer and songwriter since his early childhood. He arrived in the United States in 2007 as a F1 exchange student, and his career didn’t start until he moved to Long Beach, California on 2011.

He started the band along with Sushant Amatya in 2015. He never gave up his dreams and everything finally came together when they met Sunny Shrestha (Guitarist) and Scott Collins (Drummer). Devoting his life in music, Arpan doesn’t have any intentions to break his vows. Highly influenced by grunge, alternative, metal and classic rock music, he calls Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of Dog) and Narayan Gopal (Nepali Vocal Maestro) his great inspirations in his singing and songwriting style.
