NepCali is currently promoting their most recent single release, “Distraction,” as well as preparing their next single release, “Hope.” In addition, the writing process has already begun for a 5-6 song EP, which they are planning to have that finished by May of this year, the closing track of which, entitled “Mahakali,” has not only been finished, but they have already begun performing said track live. Recent and upcoming releases have begun to mark a shift in NepCali’s sound, leaning more into the heavy, as well as cultural flair, departing from some of the pop and hip hop aspects that dotted the earlier releases.

Live performances recently slowed as well, to take time to focus on writing. Despite this, NepCali is currently planning and booking to go on tour in May of this year, to put the new EP songs, as well as a new setlist to the trial by fire in front of audiences. They are also beginning to put feelers out to get booked onto festival shows, to expand their sound, fanbase, and experiences.
